Luc Coene, former Governor of the National Bank of Belgium, new member of Board of Directors SN Airholding

With Coene, Brussels Airlines reinforces its board with a reputable economist and financial top expert.

Luc Coene (°1947) started his career in 1973 at the National Bank of Belgium. During his rich career he also worked for IMF, the European Commission and he was active in Belgian politics as a senator, a Cabinet Secretary and Secretary to the Council of Ministers. In 2003, the year he became he became Minister of State for his merits, he returned to the National Bank of Belgium, first as Deputy Governor, and in 2011 as Governor. He has since been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Single Supervisory Mechanism of the European Central Bank.  Luc Coene also holds several other mandates, including Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board of the Théatre Royal de la Monnaie.

During the board meeting of 23 April, he was nominated and elected new board member of SN Airholding. The board co-opted Lus Coene also as member of the Strategic Committee and the Audit Committee.

Since 23 April 2015, the Board of Directors of SN Airholding consists of following members:
