Airbus announced today that, instead of the 2 previously ordered Airbus A380s, Air France will buy 3 Airbus A350 XWB aircraft.
Airbus began 2017 with orders logged during January for three of its new A350-900 XWB widebody jetliners for Air France, which already is a major customer for this version of the A350 XWB. The 2 Airbus A380 planned will not enter the Air France fleet. The A350 fits better into the future plans of the French airline.
