This measure resulting from the recommendations set out in the Le Roux report will help to improve the competitiveness of air transport and will benefit all airlines.

It will contribute to reducing costs for all airlines serving Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports in the region of 26 million euros, of which half for Air France.

“Reducing the structural competitiveness gap is one of the ambitions of our strategic project Trust Together. We welcome this measure that reduces the difference in taxes and fees impacting French air transport. We hope that the State will continue along this path. The Company’s improved competitiveness, which determines its capacity to grow in the medium term, cannot rely on its staffs’ efforts alone”, stated Jean-Marc Janaillac, Chairman of Air France.
