A last special "Tour de France" flight for Air France's Boeing 747

Flights AF 744 and AF 747 transported the last passengers of Air France’s Boeing 747 over France, in a friendly, informal setting, with a Business class lunch and Champagne for all, a commentary given by air transport specialists during the flight over France, and an exchange with Alexandre de Juniac, Chairman & CEO of Air France-KLM, and Frédéric Gagey, Chairman and CEO of Air France also present on board.
On their return to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, customers were invited to discover the Company’s maintenance workshops and share a last tribute drink at the foot of the aircraft.

More than 45 years after the first flight from Paris to New York on 3 June 1970 by the aircraft affectionately known as the Jumbo Jet, Air France salutes with emotion the last flight of this legendary aircraft.
