airberlin now flies up to three times a day from its Dusseldorf hub to Geneva. The new route is particularly attractive for business travellers due to the large number of flights, offering extremely flexible flight times between the Rhine metropolis and Geneva, home to many international organisations and financial institutions.

Mondays to Fridays, airberlin will operate morning, afternoon and evening flights to Geneva. On Saturdays and Sundays, an evening flight will depart from Dusseldorf airport. These flights are now open for booking for summer 2017.

Our new route to and from Geneva is optimally integrated into our Dusseldorf hub and we’re delighted to be able to offer even more Swiss passengers attractive connections and short transfer times at Dusseldorf airport – to New York, Los Angeles or Miami. From the spring, we will further expand our service to the US, with additional flights to Boston, San Francisco and Orlando,” said Stefan Pichler, Chief Executive Officer airberlin.

airberlin will use a Bombardier Dash Q400 on the new route, with 70 Economy Class seats and three in the new European Business Class.
